The Heart Behind Emmaus Way

My life has been a series of paths, some smooth, many rugged. Between earning my degree in Business Administration, dedicating two decades to leadership in our family business, and serving for years in church leadership, I learned the value of stewardship, structure, and professional excellence.

But more than that, it taught me that people deeply matter. Behind every sale and interaction was a home, a family, and a story. My heart was simply for people to feel seen, noticed, and truly cared about.

Through deep relational heartaches and the profound grief of miscarriages, I learned an even deeper truth: wellness isn't just a workout, it is Resilience.

Thirteen years ago, my husband and I moved to a street named Emmaus Walk. In Scripture, the road to Emmaus represents a journey of loss completely turned to restoration. In 2026, during 21 days of intentional prayer, God clearly connected that journey to the visual of the Willow Tree, a tree flexible enough to bend in the fiercest storm, yet deep-rooted enough to find life-giving water in a drought.

Emmaus Way Wellness is the culmination of that vision. No matter how hard the wind blows, you can remain rooted and radiant. Out of this journey, my calling became clear, and so did my role as a guide for other midlife women.

I live in Conover, NC with my husband, our two children, and dog. When I’m not in health "detective" mode, you can find me navigating the beautiful, real chaos of family life—staying rooted, radiant, and usually with a cup of herbal tea in one hand and an essential oil roller in the other.

For decades, I had to be my own best healthcare advocate. Having navigated an early post-menopause season myself, I intimately understand the unique burdens midlife women face, sudden hormonal shifts, stubborn weight, brain fog, and exhaustion that make it hard to show up for your life, your family, and your calling.

I am a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and a Level 2 Certified Integrative Health Practitioner (IHP2). This training allows me to offer functional lab education that gives you targeted answers, root-cause insights, and faith-rooted guidance.

I’m 50 years old, but my biological health markers reflect someone in their mid-thirties. You don’t have to settle for “just getting older”, you can thrive.
